GENOL GesmbH is a joint company from RWA Raiffeisen Ware Austria AG and OMV Downstream GmbH and has extensive know-how and many years of experience in the energy sector.
The company specialises in combustibles, fuels and special products for motor vehicles (especially lubricants) and the Lagerhäuser are amongst the key distribution channels for its products.
There is a dense network of GENOL-branded filling stations in rural Austria where holders of the trans-regional “Genol G+ Card” can fill their vehicles, flexibly and cash-free.
The energy company is particularly active in the areas of alternative and renewable energies. GENOL is one of the most important players on the Austrian market for compact biomass – pellets and briquettes – and is also involved in the areas of e-mobility and photovoltaic energy.
Around 30 employees currently work at the company’s Vienna headquarters.
